Ephemeral Art Making Join us for a series of mindful forest walks and nature-based creations throughout the Richlieu Forest in Vanier. In the first three workshops you will be invited to collect natural materials and find a spot that speaks to you for your own individual creation. By returning to the same forest we will witness both the changes in the forest and ourselves. In the tradition of landart, these creations will be temporary as the elements and creature of the forest interact with them. The forth session takes place on the summer solstice and National Indigenous People's day, and will focus on a collaborative creation made with nature and fellow participants. Half the proceeds from this workshop will be donated to the Minwaashin Lodge: Indigenous Women's Support Centre. ​ ​Join us for one or for all workshops! They are for anyone who is curious to give it a try! No artistic skills required, just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to explore the natural environment. Mobility is required to navigate the paths of the forest. Don't forget to dress for the weather!
