You have to run on a farm road that one car can finally pass through Torazuka Kofun Historic Site Park, so I think it's a good idea to park your car in the parking lot of the Hitachinaka City Buried Cultural Property Research Center in the foreground and walk. From spring to autumn, it will be an obstacle to farming work. It is a 6-minute walk from the parking lot and 500 meters away. Also, there seemed to be a small diameter from the research center to the Torazuka Kofun tumulus, and there was a sign.
It is an old burial mound with a front and rear burial mound that stands quietly in the forest of Hitachinaka, and the silhouette is easy to understand. There is a stone chamber, and burial goods such as lacquer-lacquered swords and iron hammers are found. There is an exhibition building nearby, so it is recommended to observe the excavated items there.

It seems that the humidity in the stone chamber is 90 %, but the mural paintings remained clearly and were wonderful without fading or deteriorating. Inside the stone chamber, you can take a peek through the glass from the separate room to see it. Even from a separate room, I felt the weight of the air as I could see the height of humidity. Suddenly, Na ...
Since I went there on weekdays, there was only one group waiting in line. I knelt down and saw it. I had to get out in about 15 minutes from the explanation of the person in charge, but I asked some questions so I stayed for a little longer. It is a mysterious space where the decoration inside the tumulus is preserved thanks to the fact that there was no coffin and it was buried directly. I think it was good that it was made without being washed with a deck brush like the decorated tumulus in Sakuragawa. Please go to the nearby museum. The splendidly restored tumulus is wonderful. Papercraft in the tumulus ...
