High Stone Terraces

In the past, due to the desire to cultivate farmland and build houses on sloped land, the unique farming culture of stone terraces was developed in Misato, Yoshinogawa City. The 'High Stone Terraces' built on high ground were constructed over 300 years ago, forming approximately 30 tiers of stone walls that are 150 meters high. Every April, the area is adorned with pink, white, and purple moss phlox flowers.
