A famous cherry blossom viewing spot

📍Mukaimasan Park This park on Kamojima is 800m back from Route 192, so it's hard to find, but it's a famous cherry blossom viewing spot. Drive west from Tokushima city, turn left just before Kamojima's Ichise Bridge, go through the torii gate on your right, go straight and go up the slope, and you'll see the park with playground equipment. In spring, Somei Yoshino, weeping cherry, double cherry, and other trees bloom one after another, so you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing. In autumn, the autumn leaves are beautiful and you can also pick up acorns. The park also has a large net-type complex playground equipment. The wide slide and large drum-shaped playground equipment are especially popular with elementary school children. If you go up a few stairs, you will find a plaza where you can play ball and badminton. Next to it, there is a tennis court. There is plenty of nature around the playground equipment, so you can enjoy a stroll. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the park with playground equipment to the summit. The summit is a grassy area, and you can see the beautiful scenery, including the Yoshino River and the Asan Mountains, so it's a great place to bring a picnic lunch. #0yentravelFebruary2025
