The Fuji Shibazakura Festival in Yamanashi Prefecture is packed with people every early May. It is about a 30-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Station and is definitely a must-see on a spring tour of Mount Fuji. This is said to be the largest Shibazakura garden in the metropolitan area, with about 800,000 Shibazakura trees planted.
