In Quanzhou, feel the fireworks of Wuli Ancient Street

Come to Quanzhou Yongchun Wuli Ancient Street to stroll around during the Spring Festival. I originally thought it was just an old and run-down street, but I didn’t expect it to be well built and clean. The houses seemed to be the old wooden structures from before, which had a retro feel and was very suitable for taking photos of the period. The ancient street is a bit far from the county town, and there may be few people there usually, so there are not many snacks. Most of them are Internet celebrity snacks, and some may be temporary stalls. It seems that the production level is really poor. The only suitable place to eat here is at a few local hotpot stalls at the intersection. The per capita price is not expensive and the taste is good. Beef hotpot is more recommended. If you want to eat Yongchun’s specialties, I suggest you go to the food street in the county town. I like Baiqu, Kucai Small Intestine Soup, Penghu Meat Soup, Vinegar Pork Knuckle, White Duck Soup, and Guohua Spring Rolls (which are filled with white sugar, so delicious). There are no hairpins on Wuli Street, but there is a Malaysian Department Store and Nyonya Clothing Culture Experience Center on the street, where you can pay to experience Malaysian Nyonya clothing and Nyonya photography. Next to it is Dayu Mountain, and you can drive up the mountain to watch the White Crane Fist performance. During a day trip, you can also visit the Yu Guangzhong Memorial Hall and Dongguan Covered Bridge near Yongchun East.
