Kyoto, an absolute culinary delight

Japanese food is already a delight on its own but Kyoto has to be the best prefecture for food in Japan. 🇯🇵 Home to seven 3-star michelin restaurants, Kyoto houses the 3rd most number of michelin restaurants in a city. 🤩 Try the best A5 wagyu you will ever taste (hint: it’s not Kobe). 🤫 It’s called Matsusaka and it’s such a rarity that it is harder to procure than Kobe beef. 🤤 Besides food, Kyoto is a wonderful mix of modern and tradition, with lovely sightseeing locations full of Japanese culture spread around the city. Perhaps the most famous would be the geishas in Gion. 🎎 🏯🎍 Lots of opportunities to hike as well, with arashiyama and otokoyama surrounding the city. 🥾 #japan #travel #foodtrip
