Baolian Temple in Pan Peach Holy Land, Xuzhou.

Baolian Temple is located at the foot of Pan Peach Mountain in the east of Xuzhou City. It was built during the Northern and Southern Dynasties and is the first temple in China with an Indian style. It has experienced vicissitudes and has been prosperous and desolate several times. Baolian Temple, eight halls, two pavilions, one courtyard. The Tongtian Pavilion is located at the back, 59.88 meters high, and is the tallest Buddhist pavilion in China. It enshrines Maitreya Bodhisattva, and the Buddha statue is 39.88 meters high. The Seven Buddha Hall is the largest Daxiong Hall in China, with a 9-meter-high and 37-meter-long South China Sea Guanyin mural.
