Qiyun Mountain's Xiaohutian, step into a world of fantasy and immortals! While Huangshan is bustling with activity, Xiaohutian deep within Qiyun Mountain's Yuehua Street hides a unique tranquility. The cliffside aesthetics here are breathtaking. The stone corridor is only one meter wide, with a sheer cliff on the outside and a vertical drop beneath your feet. The sea of clouds churns underfoot, and ancient vines hang like lifelines from immortals. A moon-shaped viewing window carved by a Yuan Dynasty Taoist frames the peaks of Baiyue Mountain. At dusk, the slanting sun gilds the scene, and wearing Hanfu for photos feels like ascending to immortality. The words "Xiaohutian" carved on the cliff date back to the Jiajing era; running your hand over the brushstrokes, you can almost feel the Taoist’s passionate dialogue with the heavens. The photo spots are incredible: lie down on the suspended stone bridge and float with the clouds; stand at the Hutian cave door for a silhouette shot with the abyss behind you for an amazing effect. Transportation is convenient too—30 minutes by taxi from Huangshan North Station, near Taisu Palace. Watch the sea of clouds at dawn, enjoy the sunset at dusk, and explore at night with a flashlight.
