Xinzhou Ancient City "Hot Spring Dungeon" cleared! Sangrang Homestay instantly maxed out the happiness level.

My second visit to Xinzhou Ancient City was amazing, and staying at this hidden gem of a guesthouse with a private hot spring was simply divine! Located in the heart of the ancient city, it's just a 3-minute walk to the Guandi Temple, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and dining. SangRang Hot Spring Courtyard is definitely a hidden gem in the ancient city; the designer's wabi-sabi style space creates a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you step inside. ♨️ Must-try: Private Hot Spring: Each room has its own private hot spring pool, available 24/7! The hot spring water comes from a high-quality source in Qicun Village, leaving your skin incredibly smooth after a soak. The best part is that you can book a petal bath; the yellow pool is filled with petals, accompanied by a fruit basket and herbal tea—perfect for taking beautiful photos! 🏡 Courtyard Environment: The white-walled, black-tiled courtyard is incredibly charming. Soaking in the hot spring at night, listening to the chirping of insects and gazing at the stars, completely washes away the day's fatigue. The greenery and stone paths in the courtyard make every shot a masterpiece of traditional Chinese style. 💯Attentive Service: The housekeepers were super nice, reminding us of the weather before check-in and offering free pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed rail station. Their homemade coffee for afternoon tea was amazing, easily comparable to chain stores! 📍Nearby Attractions: The cultural and creative street and food street are within walking distance. Xiurong Academy offers panoramic views of the ancient city. It's also super convenient to visit nearby attractions like Yuwang Cave and Luyashan Mountain, and parking is available right outside if you're driving. P.S.: They're super pet-friendly! Traveling with your furry friend doesn't have to worry about accommodation; they can play freely in the yard! 📌Tips: 1. Remember to book in advance if you want a petal bath. 2. The temperature difference between day and night is significant in winter; ask the butler for hot ginger tea to warm you up. 3. Some room types have BBQ grills, perfect for a BBQ in the yard with friends. 4. Off-season offers better value; avoid holidays for less crowds and a more pleasant experience. The family room I stayed in was incredibly comfortable, complete with a smart toilet, projector, and exceptionally soft bedding. After exploring the ancient city, a soak in the 39-degree hot spring, and waking up to the charming old-world streets—this is what a vacation should be like!
