A hidden gem of a beautiful stay in the ancient city! Xinzhou Hot Spring Homestay is legendary!

Visiting Xinzhou, the biggest surprise was discovering the Thirteen Moon Hot Spring Homestay! Natural hot springs + Chinese-style courtyard + smart facilities, it’s comfortable and full of charm, the whole family praised the choice. The exact location is in the suburbs near Xinzhou city center, a 10-minute drive from Xinzhou Ancient City, 20 minutes by taxi from Xinzhou Station. If you drive yourself, the homestay offers free parking, super convenient! Exploring the ancient city and soaking in the hot springs is seamless, the location is perfect~ As soon as you enter the homestay, you’re struck by the Chinese-style environment! White walls and black tiles, horse-head walls, wooden corridors, a courtyard planted with green bamboo, stone tables and stools, winding paths leading to a Chinese pavilion—it feels like stepping into a classical garden. The air carries a faint scent of plants, peaceful and quiet, without the city’s noise. Sitting down for a cup of tea feels relaxing, and every photo you take captures the Chinese atmosphere perfectly~ We booked the smart-controlled duplex room, and the space is really huge! The first floor has the living room and bathroom, the second floor is the bedroom, and the stairs feel sturdy. The room continues the Chinese style with solid wood furniture, cotton and linen bedding, paired with warm yellow lighting, cozy and textured. The highlight is the smart control system, “Xiaodu, open the curtains,” “Xiaodu, set temperature to 25 degrees,” everything is done without lifting a finger, full of tech vibes~ The bathroom separates wet and dry areas, toiletries have a light fragrance, hot water supply is ample, and there’s a smart toilet, every detail is top-notch~ The natural hot springs deserve praise! The homestay has several private hot spring pools, all fed by natural hot spring water, soaking in them warms your whole body and instantly melts away fatigue. The pools are tucked in the courtyard corners, surrounded by bamboo groves and stone walls, offering great privacy. Soaking in the hot springs at night, feeling the evening breeze, and enjoying the Chinese-style night view of the courtyard is incredibly pleasant. Coming in winter to soak is especially heartwarming~ The food and service are also excellent! Breakfast is homemade by the homestay, including porridge, steamed buns, eggs, freshly cooked noodles, local specialties like Youmian Wowo, and fresh vegetables. Eating warm food is very satisfying. For main meals, you can inform the staff in advance to enjoy Xinzhou specialties like Dingxiang steamed pork, Baode Wantuo, Yuanping Guokui, all made with fresh local ingredients, authentic and homestyle flavors. The staff are very kind, gentle, and patient, responding promptly to any needs and even recommending routes for exploring the ancient city~ Transportation is super convenient. Besides driving and taxis, there’s a bus stop right at the homestay entrance, with direct routes to the city center and ancient city. For nearby sightseeing, a 10-minute drive takes you to Xinzhou Ancient City to see Ming and Qing architecture, taste local snacks, and enjoy the night view; 25 minutes to Yanmen Pass to experience the grandeur of the “First of the Nine Passes under Heaven”; 40 minutes to Luyashan Scenic Area to see strange peaks, unique stones, and forest meadows; you can also visit Yuwang Cave to explore natural karst wonders, with plenty of activities~ This stay was really worth it—beautiful Chinese environment, comfortable hot springs, smart facilities. Whether for a couple’s vacation, friends traveling together, or a family trip, it’s perfect. Next time I come to Xinzhou, I want to stay here again to soak in the hot springs and explore the ancient city~ 🏨 Thirteen Moon Hot Spring Homestay (Xinzhou Ancient City Branch) [RoundNails] 20 meters northwest of the ground parking lot on Ancient City Bar Street, South Second Alley, Caoshi Street, Xiurong Subdistrict, Xinfu District, Xinzhou
