Xianju Gongyu Scenic Area: The Last Shangri-La in East China

Gongyu Scenic Area is located 38 kilometers southwest of Xianju County Town, and it requires a hike from Qiankeng Village to enter. Gongyu Scenic Area is renowned for its majestic landscape. The entire Gongyu stands towering and imposing, with cliffs connecting to cliffs, stretching endlessly. Each peak stands alone, forming its own entity, and the stone forest cliffs each have their own charm. The main attractions include: Ke Jiusi's former residence; Twenty-four Lang; Gongyu Cliff; Bamboo Forest; Shenlong Waterfall; Twin Lions Guarding the Heavenly Gate; Longmu Cave; Flagpole Rock; and Little Dragon Gate. Gongyu Scenic Area has also been praised by backpackers as 'The Last Shangri-La in East China,' and enjoys the reputation of a spiritual hiking destination—'China's Most Beautiful Utopia.' Gongyu Scenic Area is currently undeveloped and in its original state, with no admission fee.
