Winter Reverse Destinations | Yunnan for Winter Sun: Bright and Sunny Dali-Xiangyun

When winter comes, do you want to find some niche, reverse destinations with warm sunshine, a slow pace of life, and endless food? This time, I found Dali-Xiangyun. This is just an ordinary small county, not overdeveloped, and not as commercialized as Dali and Lijiang. I made a short stop during this trip, and I didn't have high expectations, but I unexpectedly discovered this winter sun small town suitable for travel and residence. Main attractions 1. Xiangcheng Bell and Drum Tower Xiangyun Ancient City was first built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, and the Bell and Drum Tower is located in the center of the ancient city, the center of the four streets in the southeast, northwest, and one of the main attractions of Xiangyun. The old street is not too commercialized, and it feels like a local life and business district, with food, drinks, clothing, shoes, stationery, and many things, and many temples and small attractions are hidden among them. 2. Qinghai Lake Not the "Qinghai Lake" in Qinghai, but a lake formed by a reservoir. Some people fish here, and the view on the dam is wide, suitable for picnics and camping, enjoying the warm sunshine. 3. Shuimu Mountain Scenic Area Half an hour's drive from Xiangyun County, this is an outdoor pilgrimage site, composed of Maitreya Hall, Shuimu Temple Mahavira Hall, Puxian Temple, Relic Pagoda Forest, Baohua Temple, and other temples, and a thousand-year-old Tang Dynasty ancient camellia king is still preserved. (The above two attractions are suitable for friends who like outdoor and sports) 4. Yunnan Yi Village - Tea Horse Road If you want to go all the way to reverse tourism, you must come to Yunnan Yi Ancient Town, which is about 13 kilometers away from Xiangyun. There are few people here, the old street is ancient, and the historical heritage is strong, and you can learn about the historical traces of the Tea Horse Road. There is basically no development here, and I personally hope that there can be further planning here to improve the reception capacity and service level. 🚄Transportation: Xiangyun County has a high-speed railway station, which is very convenient to travel, only 20 minutes from Dali, and only 1 hour and 45 minutes to Kunming. You can ride a shared bike in the city. 🏨Accommodation: If you are not like me, you can choose to come here in winter to enjoy the warm sunshine and slow-paced life, and the high-cost performance of prices and food must be an excellent destination 🍕Food: Pa meat rice noodles, donkey meat marinade, fried potatoes, handmade tofu, milk tea, grilled beef jerky.
