Former Site of the Lushan Conference

The Busan Conference was an important meeting held after the founding of New China, because many national leaders (Peng Dehuai, Zhang Wentian, etc.) were famously knocked down after the meeting, and the old site is now a memorial hall, free of charge.

The former site of the Lushan Conference is one of the most well-known humanities attractions in the scenic area. It is located next to the town of Guling. It was originally a local theater. It is famous for an important meeting of our party and is open to tourists for free.

The former site of the Busan Conference was built in 1935 and completed in 1937. After the founding of New China, it was renamed the Busan People's Theatre. Since 1959, the CPC Central Committee has held three important meetings here, namely the Eighth Plenary Session of the CPC Central Committee in 1959, the Central Work Conference in 1961 and the Second Plenary Session of the Nineth Central Committee of the CPC Central Committee in 1970. The former site was officially opened to the public in 1985, and was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in 1996, and is one of the important bases for patriotic education.

The former meeting site is located in the Shandong Valley of Jiangxi Province, which is the meeting address of the two plenary sessions of the CPC Central Committee. It is now a tourist hot spot.

This is one of the very representative small attractions in Lushan. The meeting site is not big and divided into 2 floors. It is a few hundred meters from Meilu. The visit can end in 20 minutes.
