Jinyin Lake Wetland Park: Full of Life

Jinyin Lake National Urban Wetland Park is one of the largest urban wetland parks in Wuhan. On January 12, 2025, a sunny winter day, we visited this wetland park. Looking around, the entire Jinyin Lake is an endless wetland park, with abundant lake channels and wetlands, well-preserved natural ecology, and a variety of flora and fauna. Being in Jinyin Lake Wetland Park feels like being in a peaceful and harmonious painting. It shows us the beauty of wetland landscapes in a unique way. We walked slowly along the crisscrossing trails in Jinyin Lake Wetland Park. The dormant vegetation around us, though lacking the green of spring, the lushness of summer, and the colors of autumn, still showed a unique vitality in its own way! Looking around, through the withered appearance of the plants, we seemed to see the green grass of spring, the lotus flowers of summer, and the reeds of autumn... To our delight and surprise, during our visit, we occasionally saw water birds resting in the lake, either swimming leisurely or diving for food. The presence of these creatures fills Jinyin Lake Wetland Park with life in winter! They remind us that even in the cold winter, nature is still full of vitality; even in the twilight years of life, there is still hope and endless beauty, requiring perseverance and hard work...
