The State Library of NSW is the oldest and most comprehensive library in Sydney and all of Australia. It's a cultural landmark in Sydney, and I recommend you check it out if you have time. The library was founded in 1826. Its architectural style blends classical and modern elements, creating a dignified and elegant atmosphere. Stepping inside, the high-vaulted dome, exquisite stained-glass windows, and antique bookshelves seem to transport you through time, allowing you to experience the passage of years. This is not only a temple of knowledge but also a museum of art and history. I stumbled upon a small, ornate, vintage reading room where the afternoon sun streamed in, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere.
