It's one of Sydney's cultural landmarks, founded in 1826, with a blend of classical and modern architecture. The library boasts a rich collection of books and elegant decor. From the soaring dome to the exquisite stained glass, every corner exudes a rich sense of history. It's not just a great place to read, but also a great place to admire centuries-old architecture. The reading room on the first floor is truly captivating, with its antique, palace-like atmosphere and vast collection of books that instantly put you at ease. In addition to the extensive collection of books, there are also special exhibitions that are free to enjoy👏. I saw two sizable special exhibitions on the day I went, one of which was about Shakespeare, which I loved😍.
