Phu Chi Fa National Park

Phu Chi Fa is the highest peak in the Doi Pha Mon mountain range, with an average elevation of 1,628 meters above sea level. To the east, it borders Laos. The area is predominantly mountainous with small flat areas between the high peaks. It is the source of many rivers. The highlight is the Phu Chi Fa viewpoint, a cliff with a sharp point that juts into the sky at a 45-degree angle. From the front, you can see the village of Chiang Tong in Laos. On winter mornings, when the sun rises above the horizon amidst a sea of mist covering the valleys below, the cliff's sharp peak pointing skyward creates a picturesque scene like a painting.
