WARRNAMBOOL WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS

A wonderful petting zoo. Reservations are required. I visited in 2023 and 2025, and the young staff were on hand to explain the animals to me. You can hold baby wombats and wallabies, feed emus, goats, and chickens, and even interact with snakes and other reptiles. It's a small zoo, so you don't have to walk around much, and it's fun for everyone from toddlers to seniors. The tour takes 90 minutes, and is free for children under 2, A$23 for children, A$39.55 for adults, and A$31.64 for seniors (as of 2025).
