🐾 A Wildly Fun Day at Warrnambool Wildlife Encounters! 🌿🦘 Visiting Warrnambool Wildlife Encounters was one of the most fun and heartwarming parts of my trip! The experience was small-group and fully guided, which made it feel super personal. The keepers introduced us to each animal by name and shared their stories—it wasn’t just a “look and leave” zoo vibe. You could actually hold, cuddle, and feed many of the animals! 🦘 Feeding kangaroos by hand was hilarious—they’re gentle but greedy! 🐨 I got to cuddle a koala, and yes, they’re just as soft and sleepy as they look in photos. 🐍 I even held a python (after some nervous laughter) and learned how important reptiles are to the ecosystem. 🦡 And one of the highlights? Giving a big ol’ hug to a chubby wombat—seriously, it was like hugging a furry potato with legs. But it wasn’t just about cuteness—it was also really educational. The staff shared stories about animal rescue, conservation, and how these creatures survive in the wild. It made me appreciate just how unique and special Australian wildlife really is.
