Aburi En (Wan Chai)

Passed by @aburien_hk on @leetungavenue. As I had never tried it before, I decided to go there for lunch. There was a small queue when I arrived, but I was quickly seated 🤟🏻 I ordered their most popular dish - the butadon (pork rice bowl). The lunch set included a bowl of miso soup and side salad. It came after 15 minutes - the observant waiter noticed that I was starting to get impatient and proactively reassured me that my food was being prepared 👏🏻👏🏻 There were 5 huge pieces of grilled pork coated with a sweet umami sauce, making the tender meat extra juicy 💧The refreshing salad had just the right level of tartness and the cold seasoned egg soaked in soy sauce paired well with the steaming hot rice 🍚 All in all, I was super full and very impressed by the high level of food quality at such an affordable price 🤑(P.S. it seems the takeaway menu is even more budget-friendly) 📍ABURI-EN Shop G02 & 03, G/F, Lee Tung Avenue, 200 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai (MTR exit B2) #gourmetsummer
