This Orthodox Church

This Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit is a very different one of the many churches in the Old Town of Vilnius. In Vilnius today, various religions live in harmony and flourish. The Orthodox Church is a representative of the Orthodox Church of the small sect, standing near the Gate of Dawn in the old town. The pale pink appearance is low-key and pure, while the interior is dominated by green tones, which are quite distinctive. This Orthodox church is exceptionally special compared to the many Catholic churches around. You can reach the church by crossing the gates of the Dawn in the old town and following the quaint streets. The church is housed in an elegant courtyard surrounded by lush bushes, where many church members come to visit. The light color of the church is low-key and pure. Into the main entrance of the church, immediately attracted by the landscape inside, the church is painted in rare green, above the round dome, a beautiful crystal lamp has been hanging down the hall. In the glass dome of the center, three corpses of victims of the Orthodox Church were placed. The faces and bodies of the three sacred corpses are wrapped in cloth. Only out of their red shoes are outside. Many devout believers came here, staring quietly, kissing the shoes of the corpse in turn, and touching the shoes with their foreheads. The movement is simple, but it creates a sacred atmosphere that is unforgettable. The pillars next to the sacred corpse were filled with candles, and they burned quietly, emitting a golden flame. The beautiful red pillars are engraved with exquisite patterns, which is a great artistic treasure.
