Bernardine Gardens❤️

It was nice walking through the gardens in April and seeing all the flowers in bloom. There are multiple chess tables and people playing chess and some playgrounds too. Try to walk through the gardens from St. Anne's Church and on our way to the Three Crosses Hill. The area beside the river is nice but we just enjoyed our time here. The gardens would be good for a nice short walk or to spend time relaxing with your family. There were some restaurants near the fountain and a paid bathroom. The history of Bernardine Gardens dates back to the 15th century when Bernardine Monks were invited to Vilnius and built the complex of St. Anne's, St. Francis’ and Bernardine’s Churches and Monasteries. They also cultivated the marshy springy area and planted gardens with ponds, canals, and fruitful orchards. Later bees were buzzing in the apiary and flowers grew in the orangery.
