Only recently did I get to enjoy it again without a plane ticket when I found it in Kwai Fong and Tsim Sha Tsui. "Small people, big life" is the philosophy Kamei Tea reminds itself to never forget its original intention. Through cooperation with small farmers, it always feels heartfelt, and it is known for its high mountain tea and authentic fruit drinks. The Tsim Sha Tsui branch opened in early July and is closest when walking from Tsim Sha Tsui B2 station. I recommend Kamei’s Oolong Tea "33 Tea King Pearl Milk Tea," which is roasted slowly at low temperature for 72 hours, repeatedly fired and re-fired over three days and nights. After roasting, it is stored at low temperature for 30 days, allowing the phenols inside the tea leaves to gradually mature. The tea flavor is rich with zero bitterness, the milk aroma is delicate and not greasy. Paired with 30% sugar and less ice, it highlights the richness and the layered sweetness aftertaste. If you like pearls, you can order the 33 Tea King Pearl Milk Tea; the pearls are chewy and upgrade the texture.
