A trip through Spain's Central Highlands ~ Toledo (Region) This small but beautiful church was built shortly after the Reconquista. Only a portion of the frescoes adorning the walls of the Mudéjar style remain. A small Baroque church was added in the 17th century. It enjoys a prime location in Toledo, offering stunning views of the valley and isolated from other buildings. This is a Mozarabic church, a cult practiced by Christians who remained in Toledo during the Muslim invasion.
