A church no longer used for religious purposes.

Walking through the Spanish Central Plateau ~ Toledo (Region) This beautiful building located in the Jewish Quarter has a long history. It’s a very brief visit, as you don’t need more than 15 minutes to see the White Church, but the church itself is stunning and unique. It was built by Muslim craftsmen for Jewish people (it was never a mosque), so the white and gold interior has a Moorish style. The horseshoe-shaped columns are truly a work of art. Our guideboard explained how it became a Christian church and showed us one of the few remaining symbols of Jewish faith. Definitely worth a visit!
