[Shoichii Inari Shrine/Tokyo] Thought to be related to Empress Teimei

Shoichii Inari Shrine in Suginami Ward, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 This shrine is related to the Ogawara family, headman of the former Koenji village. When Kujo Setsuko, who would become the empress of Emperor Taisho (Empress Teimei), was fostered by the Ogawara family, this shrine is likely the family's house deity. In the precincts, there is a seated statue of Bato Kannon and a standing statue of Jizo Bodhisattva on a pedestal engraved with the name of the Ogawara family. There was also something engraved with the name of the Ogawara family inside the shrine. There were also onigawara tiles and other items that seem to be from the past on the back of the shrine. Behind the shrine is the Chuo Line, with trains running nonstop. The shrine is surrounded by residential areas, and this place stands in the middle of them all.
