[Uchikoshi Tenjin Kitano Shrine/Tokyo] A local playground and place to relax

Tenjin Kitano Shrine in Nakano Ward, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 Uchikoshi Tenjin Kitano Shrine is pronounced "Uchigoshi Tenjin Kitano Jinja." It is also called Uchikoshi Tenjin. The founding date is unknown, but according to the New Compendium of Musashi Fudoki, it seems to have existed at the end of the Edo period. The enshrined deity is Sugawara no Michizane. The divine crest of the plum tree can be seen on the chozuya (purification fountain) and the offering box. There is also a Nyoirin Kannon statue and two Koshin towers, which are designated as tangible cultural properties of the ward.
