Among them, G7503 is a key train, with stops at Hangzhou—Shaoxing—Shengzhou Xinchang—Tiantai Mountain—Linhai—Taizhou, where almost every stop sees a batch of hikers with "eye-catching backpacks." 📍This trip's destination: Tiantai Mountain 🏠Homestay: Tiantai Manxiu Homestay (affordable price, 5 km from Guoqing Temple, the landlady is enthusiastic, but the location is not very convenient. If you want to go to the new town at night, you can choose a hotel in the city center for convenience) ⛰️DAY 1 Arrived at Tiantai Mountain at 10 AM, first had lunch at "Tuzaotou" (suggestion: if going to Nanhuang Ancient Trail in winter, get off the train and go directly there, eat some lunch on the train, otherwise the whole loop takes about 5 hours, and it gets dark early in winter making it hard to get a taxi afterward) The entire route can be divided into 4 stages: First stage: climb up to Jigong Temple (difficulty: medium-high) Second stage: descend to Linhai Highway (difficulty: low) Don’t be happy when you see the highway and go straight down; that leads to Linhai. Here you will see "two big barrels." The second half of the loop is behind the big barrels. Third stage: climb up to the signpost for Linhai and Tiantai (difficulty: medium-high) Fourth stage: quickly descend (difficulty: low) It is recommended to go a bit faster on the two downhill sections. The beautiful scenery is concentrated in stages two and three, where you can take photos. 🔔Important gear: shoes (need strong grip), trekking poles, chocolate, water On weekends, there are usually many outdoor groups, and along the way, team markers are hung on trees to guide members who fall behind to follow the signs. We girls were relatively slow, starting the climb at 12:30 PM. When descending, it got dark around 5:15 PM, and it was already hard to get a taxi. We saw a 603 minibus going to the city, quickly got on, 2 yuan per person. DAY 2 Guoqing Temple We took a casual and free approach. Other guests at the homestay left around 6 AM. We finished breakfast after 8 AM and started walking inside at 9:15 AM. There were already many people. We walked around, reached the top at the Guanyin Temple, then descended. You can rest and have free tea (free, but wash your own cup). At 11 AM, we had a meal at the restaurant at the main gate, then went straight to the train station.
