However, from the guest room decor to the lobby public area, apart from the extensive use of wood veneer and other wooden elements, it is hard to feel the value of this honor. Perhaps they just consulted a feng shui master who thought the place lacked wood elements. The hotel is located in the Taizhou Medical City (New District). Driving there is not inconvenient, but if you walk, there is a Rainbow Shopping Center 200 meters away, which mainly focuses on family and dining but is a declining complex with few people. The surrounding high-rise buildings mostly have dark exteriors, and the sparse lighting during the Qingming Festival creates an eerie atmosphere. The room was upgraded to Suite 01, with a standard living room + bedroom layout. The doors leading to the guest bathroom and master bathroom are designed as hidden doors, which is an unnecessary design for the sake of design, making it inconvenient to enter and exit. The only thing in the room that has any design connection to the 'Luban Award' is the Nespresso coffee machine, which has a circular spaceship shape that is equally impractical and difficult to use. The coffee machine in the executive lounge was broken, with a notice posted indicating that there were no plans to repair it in the short term. If you insist on having coffee, the staff will bring it up from the lobby bar in disposable paper cups, which is bland and tasteless. Happy hour starts randomly after 5 PM, with egg fried rice and mapo tofu to fill you up, which does not match the high-end and grand decor of the lounge. Breakfast offers fish soup noodles, which is a plus. The gym is spacious and bright, with separate changing rooms for men and women. It's unclear what kind of clientele this is meant to satisfy, as there is no third-party management operation.
