The Former Residence of Shi Nai'an's 'Inkstone Land'!

Inkstone Land is located at the center of Shijiaqiao Village, surrounded by water on all sides, forming a natural mound. There are small bridges connecting it to the riverbanks in the south and northeast. The ground is slightly higher than the surrounding area, resembling a 'giant inkstone,' hence the name 'Inkstone Land.' On Inkstone Land, there are archways, the former residence of Shi Nai'an, and three workshops (oil workshop, wine workshop, tofu workshop). It is said that Shi Nai'an chose this place to seclude himself for writing 'Water Margin.' The scenery here is beautiful, and being surrounded by water on all sides, it is almost isolated from the outside world, allowing for peaceful writing. 'Inkstone Land' is about 1500 meters away from Shi Nai'an's Mausoleum and is still part of the Shi Nai'an Cultural Park, so no additional ticket is required.
