Windowless Room at Grand Hotel Taipei - Quiet and Comfortable, but Slightly Confining

This time, I stayed in a windowless twin room at the Grand Hotel Taipei. The overall space was clean and tidy, maintaining the hotel's signature Chinese-style elegance. The geometric patterns and lighting design on the walls added a modern touch to the traditional ambiance of the room. The beds were soft and very comfortable to sleep on, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night conducive to rest. However, as this is a windowless room, natural light is completely absent, making it difficult to sense the passage of time in the morning. For those whose daily routines rely heavily on sunlight, this might be a bit inconvenient. Spending extended periods in the room may also feel slightly confining, especially for travelers accustomed to ventilation or open windows. It is recommended to consider upgrading to a room with windows for a more comfortable stay.
