Taipei｜A Day Trip to Gongguan Waterfront and Guting Riverside Park

Today's journey began at Gongguan Waterfront, a hidden gem in Taipei City. The morning sunlight shimmering on the river brought a sense of joy and tranquility. We strolled along the waterfront, enjoying the gentle breeze and the beauty of nature. Next, we headed to Guting Riverside Park. With its expansive lawns, it's a perfect spot for picnics and relaxation. We found a cozy spot under the shade of a tree to enjoy our simple packed lunch, surrounded by serene and picturesque views. In the park, we rented bicycles and rode along the riverside trails, taking in the scenic views along the way. Seeing many locals exercising and walking here gave me a sense of the community's vibrant energy. In the afternoon, we returned to Gongguan Waterfront to explore nearby shops and savor local delicacies, such as handmade ice cream and various beverages. Each bite was a delightful surprise. This one-day trip to Gongguan not only allowed me to enjoy the tranquility of nature but also experience the unique local culture. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and relax!
