Visiting Si Si Nan Cun - Military Dependents' Village Museum

Si Si Nan Cun is the first military dependents' village in the Taipei area. It is named 'Si Si Nan Cun' because it is located south of the Si Si Armory. The park includes a bunker from that time, which was intentionally preserved by the designer. Although it has lost its original function, it remains a historical trace of Si Si Nan Cun. The park features many exhibition halls and numerous houses that retain their original appearance. Additionally, many cultural and creative elements have been added to the park, and various products are available for sale. Building A - Parent-Child Hall (Photos 13-15) Provides a warm play space for parents and children, filling the retro space with the flavor of a military dependents' village with creativity. Building B - Military Dependents' Village Museum (Photos 1-5) Mainly preserves the culture of Si Si Nan Cun with static displays. The exhibition themes include the historical trajectory of Si Si Nan Cun, military dependents' village arts and culture, food, life, leisure, handicrafts, and a multimedia screening room. Building C - Haoqiu Cultural and Creative Dining Space (Photos 6-7) Currently leased by Neutron Culture Co., Ltd., the store is named 'Hao, Qiu.' The dining focuses on light meals, including bread, bagels, burgers, and coffee drinks. Building D - Arts, Bookstore, and Theater Hall (Photos 8-12) PLAYground creates a new type of space that integrates theater, reading, design, and dining creativity.
