Ancient Temple Near Ximending

Mengjia Longshan Temple, located in Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan, is one of the most famous temples in Taiwan. This temple boasts magnificent architecture and grandeur, making it one of the best-preserved and largest historical sites in Taipei City. Longshan Temple was built in the 40th year of the Qianlong reign (1775) and has a long history. The temple enshrines many deities, with the most famous being Baosheng Dadi, who is considered the main deity of the temple. Longshan Temple attracts a large number of devotees and tourists every year, especially during the Lunar New Year, when it is crowded with people and bustling with incense offerings.
