#Taipei Attractions When you come to Taipei, if you are interested in the history of celebrities, you will usually visit two memorial halls, one for Sun Yat-sen and the other for Chiang Kai-shek. The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is designed in blue and white, imitating the octagonal glazed tiles of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. It is understood that the pointed roof represents the Eight Virtues, while the human figure hidden within it symbolizes the unity of man and nature.
