Taiwan Itinerary: A Blend of Nature, Culture, and Cityscapes

This is our itinerary for our trip in Taiwan last Nov 1-5 2024. This itinerary balances natural wonders with cultural experiences and iconic city views. It's designed to be flexible, allowing you to adjust timings based on your preferences. Day 1: Coastal Gems and Mountain Charm Explored the stunning natural beauty of the northern coast. - Yehliu Geopark: Uique rock formations shaped by wind and sea over millennia. Don't miss the iconic "Queen's Head" rock. - Yin Yang Sea: Witnessed the striking contrast of colors in this unique geological feature. - Jiufen: Explored this charming mountain town, once a prosperous gold mining area. Wandered through the narrow streets with lots of shops, and breathtaking views. Day 2: Taipei 101 and Urban Exploration Experienced Taipei's iconic landmark and vibrant city life. We just use Metro to explore the city. - Taipei 101 Exploration: This architectural marvel has panoramic city views from its observation deck. Explored the upscale shopping mall at its base. Day 3: History, Culture, and City Views This day offers a mix of historical sites, cultural experiences, and more stunning city views. - Changing of the Guards at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall: Witnessed this impressive ceremony, held hourly. - Bo Pi Liao Historical Street: Explored this charming old street, offering a glimpse into Taipei's history. - Chinese Temple (Longshan Temple): Visited this significant temple, a vibrant hub of religious and cultural activity and bought some charms. - National Palace Museum: Explored this world-renowned museum, housing an extensive collection of Chinese art and artifacts. - Photo Op Taipei 101: Captured one last stunning photo of Taipei 101, perhaps from a different vantage point from Day 2.
