Keong Saik Bakery Singapore

Keong Saik Bakery has just opened their second outlet in Holland Village near the likes of other café favourites like Sunday Folks & %Arabica! The frontage is decked in a pretty pastel blue shade with a mix of traditional and modern design styles. The balance is also incorporated into how their menu, with choices of popular European pastries and traditional local breakfast delights. 🍳 Feels a bit like Singapore back in the 90s, where 𝘬𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘮 shophouses were a common thing. 🇸🇬 There’re a couple of new items, such as the 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗼 𝗞𝗼𝘂𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻 in this outlet. There’s a slight savouriness, but it would be better if there’s a richer butter taste. 🥐 We got the 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁-𝗯𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝘀! The toast is quite tough, but otherwise decent. 🍞 The eggs are perfectly cooked! 🍳 The 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝘂𝗯𝗲 is a plus for us based on the ooziness, but the potatoes felt kind of undercooked. 🥔 #singaporetrips#cafe
