There’s always the big debate over whose food is better between Singaporeans and Malaysians, but we can all agree that both sides have their undefeatable specialties. 🇸🇬🇲🇾One of them would be the Nasi Lemak, a classic Malaysian favourite. The team behind @championflagship took it upon themselves to bring in one of the best Nasi Lemak we’ve tasted, and we’re certainly thankful! 🤤 The space occupies a shophouse along Joo Chiat Road, fitting in to the rustic Malaysian look, with hand-painted letterings by @oldworld_charm. Their signature dish would be the 𝗔𝘆𝗮𝗺 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗵, which is a recipe from a famed restaurant that is rated best Nasi Lemak in Kuala Lumpur. That’s some flex! 😂 The fried chicken is so crispy and tender, with a slightly sweet and spicy savouriness that was simply mind-blowing! 🍗 The sambal is made with 18 different ingredients and cooked for 5 hours, enhancing its wonderful flavour with just a touch. 🤩 We felt the rice was slightly lacking in coconut fragrance, and it would be better if the egg was the iconic fried runny egg rather than a hard-boiled. 🥥 Considering its high price point, it’s definitely worth it especially since they threw in an entire chicken leg! #singaporetrips#cafe
