To the World Heritage Site Sigiriya Rock 🪨 3 to 4 hours one way from the capital Colombo The trip there is smooth, but on the way back, traffic jams can make it difficult to get to the planned destination, so it's best to give yourself plenty of time. If you listen to the guide at Sigiriya Rock, you'll stop along the way, so I think it took about 2 hours round trip. I went in November, but it was so hot 🫠 sweat! sweat! sweat! There was a tap that gave cold drinking water along the way, so I was able to replenish my fluids! Climb up many stairs to the top. Looking down from the top, you can see the forest in 360 degrees! Trees! Nature! This spectacular view is sure to impress you 🌳 The descent was much easier than the ascent 😎 People with a fear of heights should not climb. I'm not afraid of heights, but going up and down the stairs made me shake my legs a lot 💦
