[Sri Lanka] Spectacular views! World Heritage Site Sigiriya Rock

📍 Sigiriya, Sri Lanka The most famous of the World Heritage Sites registered in Sri Lanka, it is a place that can be said to be a symbol of Sri Lanka💛 In the late 5th century, King Kassapa I built a palace on the top of a towering 180m-high granite rock over a period of seven years, and the city was built around this palace, and Sigiriya became the royal capital for 10 and a half years🫅 After crossing the moat, Sigiriya Rock is right in front of you🪨 The entrance and exit to Sigiriya Rock are different, so you can only take photos here when you are climbing! (2nd and 3rd photos) You have to climb 1,200 steps to reach the top of the rock⛰️ It takes about 20 minutes, so don't forget to stay hydrated. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and clothes that are easy to move in! 👟 The sense of accomplishment after climbing all the way up the cave was incredible, and I felt like I finally made it! 💛👏😭 I also encountered wild monkeys on the way 🐵 Maybe they stole someone's banana? The summit offers a 360-degree panoramic view!!
