Shintsuru Honten is located in Shimo-Suwa-machi, Suwa-gun, Nagano Prefecture. It is a long-established Japanese confectionery store founded in 1873. The specialty is "Shio Yokan" made using the same method since the store's founding. Its elegant sweetness and subtle saltiness are exquisite and loved by many people. There are also plenty of handmade sweets, such as mochi manju and seasonal fresh sweets. It was bustling with locals and tourists✨ Next to it is Suwa Taisha Shrine, and even though it was mid-April, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom🌸 It's great to eat takeout Shio Yokan while looking at the magnificent cherry blossoms there.
