Hiking to see the plant that is older than the dinosaurs 😳

#springwander Here comes Spring!!! And one of the yearly TO DO, is to hike... this time, we hiked to see the plant that is believed to be oldest than the dinosaurs... its the CYCADS. These are ancient seed plants (palm like trees) that is said to be around since 280 million yeara ago. It has trunks, leaves, conez but no flower at all... Fairylake Botanical Garden features a whole garden for cycads. As of first week of March, the twigs are dry. But they are all over the botanical garden... According to the caretaker, these cycads will be full blossom with cones on last week of March, towards April and May... and for sure i will come back to see it. 🌾🌷❤️ Fairylake Botanical Garden is located in Xianhu district, city of Shenzhen
