Shenzhen ‖ MUJI Hotel

Series- Decided to stay at the MUJI Hotel in Shenzhen on a whim. I've always liked the brand, so I chose to spend a day at the MUJI Hotel in Shenzhen. 🏨Room Type- Last time I stayed in room type A, this time I chose room type C. I really like the depth of this room, it has more character than the square ones. The room is very MUJI, with white oak flooring, fabric sofas and lampshades, warm yellow lighting, and spotless white sheets, all reflecting MUJI's brand aesthetics and philosophy in its simplicity, cleanliness, and directness. ⭐Features- Almost all the room amenities are MUJI's own products. I've always felt that MUJI hotels are a large-scale marketing tool for their own products. Having used them, you are more likely to want to buy them than if you just saw them on the shelf, like the indoor humidifier, or the wall-mounted CD player. This time I brought Cyndi Wang's The CD spins rapidly in the machine, and the music starts playing, creating a full atmosphere. The toilet deserves praise for its hardware; it's a fully intelligent multifunctional toilet, a feature that many five-star hotels can't match. Of course, considering the pricing of MUJI hotels, this feature seems 'expected'. The only dissatisfaction was with the bed, which was a bit short. As an average-height person from Guangdong, my feet easily hung out of the bed. ❣️Tips- I didn't buy breakfast as I had tried it once and it was quite ordinary. Moreover, the hotel is located next to Shenzhen Upper Hills, which offers too many choices. Unless you're looking for something new, the hotel breakfast can be skipped. The room comes with 2 packs of drip coffee; brew a cup, pair it with the pastries from Master Bao bought the night before, and enjoy the rare sunny day in Shenzhen. A holiday morning can be as perfect as one wishes, truly a gem in Shenzhen.
