Lovely snorkelling with live coral and lots of fish
This is one of the few places we saw live coral snorkelling in Mauritius and lots of fish. The beach has some shade and a large carpark with some picnic benches. When we came there was no one else on ...
Nice Quiet Beach
This is a nice and quiet small beach situated near the Ravenala. We had a walk here whilst staying at the hotel. Very quiet, nice snorkelling with plenty of fish life. Worth a few hours.
Tropical beach
Beautiful white samd and shallow water good for the kids. Not too busy or crowded and easily accessible from the road.
NOT AS PRETTY IN REAL LIFE
The stretch outside the Westin Hotel is rocky with a lot of urchins - footwear is recommended. You can snorkel past the rocks but you cannot go much further out as the inner reef blocks your progress....

Западный берег Маврикия интересен тем, что там находится бухта Балаклава, заповедная зона, в которой много уникальной фауны и флоры. Ветер не такой пронизывающий в зимние месяцы как на юге.
