Scouted the area in Nanxiong for everyone; the ginkgo leaves are transitioning from green to yellow, will go back in a few days

By November, they all turn into little yellow books, everywhere is golden ginkgo. From November 22 to 23, I drove 4 hours from Guangzhou to Shaoguan Nanxiong. Half of the leaves have turned yellow, and the other half are still lush green, truly a transition period. It’s like seeing a popular celebrity without makeup—half surprise, half disappointment. Pictures 1-8 are from the Maozi Peak Scenic Area. In front are Dafangping and Xiaofangping, which have already turned yellow. Pictures 7-8 show Golden Avenue, which is still very early; it’s estimated to turn yellow by early December. There are also places to feed sika deer at Maozi Peak, but don’t buy tickets, it’s a huge rip-off... Pictures 9-13 are from Pingtian Aobei Village. The yellow leaves are sparse, just a few trees, and there are more people than leaves, so you really have to be picky about angles. I really don’t recommend going to Aobei Village. Pictures 14-16 are from Nanhua Temple. The weather was great, perfect for photos. If you go early, you can even have a vegetarian meal inside the temple.
