The best hotel on the banks of the Danxia Mountain River - Leisurely Riverside Designer Art Hotel

#NovemberDestinations2025 There are many guesthouses and hotels near Danxia Mountain Scenic Area. Larger hotels are concentrated at the entrance of Danxia Mountain, while there are many guesthouses near the cable car and the Danxia Water Wharf, mostly costing 200-300 yuan, some even just over 100 yuan. This hotel, located on the riverbank and near the Danxia Water Wharf, has a minimum room price of over 700 yuan, making it one of the most expensive in the area. However, I think its quality, environment, and service justify the price. We stayed for two nights. Perhaps because it was the off-season and we stayed consecutively, we were upgraded from a mountain view room to a river view room. Upon entering, we were greeted by a beautiful view through large floor-to-ceiling windows ☺️☺️. We were very satisfied with everything in the room. It had a separate shower and toilet, a smart toilet, and enough space next to the sink for a dressing table, toiletries, and a bench for easy shoe changing. The layout was very practical, and the furnishings were artistic, making it a very comfortable room. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with convenience stores, local product shops, and restaurants nearby. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Danxia Waterfall Wharf and Yangyuan Mountain Scenic Area, and the free shuttle bus station to the cable car and Elder Peak is also nearby. The area even has a light show at night. When leaving the hotel to reach the wharf and Yangyuan Mountain, be sure to walk along the grassy area to the riverbank; the scenery there is beautiful. The staff were very attentive and polite. The only complaint is about the breakfast. It's a Chinese breakfast, and the variety is acceptable. Buns, rice, and noodles are self-service, while porridge and dishes are served. Perhaps we arrived a bit late, around 9:30 am, but breakfast started at 8:00 am, and all the food was room temperature. The self-service buns, rice, and noodles were only slightly warm. Initially, I thought people in Shaoguan preferred room temperature porridge, but I later had it at another guesthouse.
