Here are some of my favorite secret spots👇 📸 Photography tips: 1. The light is softest before 10 AM, and there’s a thin mist over the lake, super dreamy 2. Wear light-colored clothes and stand at the corner of the wooden boardwalk; use a telephoto lens to shoot from behind for a great atmosphere 3. Remember to bring spare batteries for drone shots! The god’s-eye view of the redwood forest surrounding the blue lake is amazing 📍 Navigation: Tianjingshan National Forest Park, Ruyuan County, Shaoguan City (beside National Highway G323) ⏰ Recommended time: Best in mid to late December, open daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM 💰 Ticket: 40 RMB per person (discounts available for advance online purchase) 💡 Useful tips: - Driving is recommended, about 3.5 hours from Guangzhou - There are simple meals in the park, but it’s better to bring a picnic mat and have lunch in the forest - Be sure to wear non-slip shoes! The wooden boardwalk covered with fallen leaves can be slippery - On the way, you can visit Nanshui Lake, a 20-minute drive, with unbelievably blue water If you go now, you can still catch the last wave of red leaves.
