Shanghai | Four Seasons Hotel: The legendary ultra-luxurious five-star hotel.

Finally got to stay at the legendary ultra-luxurious Four Seasons Hotel! My first impression: absolutely flawless. The moment you step into the lobby, the exquisite decor is breathtaking. The staff are always incredibly warm and attentive. The rooms are super spacious, featuring a full-sized luxurious bathroom, a comfortable chaise lounge seating area, and a desk. Although the lighting switches are a bit complicated, once figured out, the lighting effect is excellent. On good weather days, the panoramic view of Shanghai is simply unbeatable! Highly recommend the foot massage and spa here! The massage rooms are fantastic, and the therapists are extremely meticulous—definitely one of the best services I've ever experienced! From the warm welcome by the doorman to the top-notch room service, the service is undoubtedly five-star quality. The facilities are impeccable, and the bathroom is stocked with a full set of L'Occitane toiletries. The location is excellent! It's close to Metro Lines 2, 12, and 13 (West Nanjing Road Station), making it super convenient to get anywhere. Breakfast is served on the first floor, with plenty of Chinese options, though Western choices are relatively limited. Biggest downside: aging facilities While the service and location are top-notch, the facilities are aging too quickly. The hotel really needs to improve its maintenance! The carpets are dirty and worn, the furniture is heavily scratched, and the overall room appearance feels noticeably outdated. This is truly a pity.
