| The stunning new hotel in North Bund. The decor is totally my style, I love it so much. Modern lighting paired with a slightly vintage club-like vibe. The entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, although there’s not much of a view, I really love the comfortable feeling of the sunlight pouring in. The bed is very large, even with kids squeezing in, it’s no problem. The bathroom is separate, but I didn’t like the shower design much; it feels a bit small, probably because the space was given to the sink and bathtub. Breakfast doesn’t have a wide variety but is on the refined side. The breads are all delicious, the hot dishes are good, and the cold plates include smoked salmon. Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the breakfast. However, the seating management needs improvement. I often saw guests brought in with no available seats. Also, the breakfast seating area is not well planned, with people constantly lining up at the entrance. I suggest coming early if you want to have breakfast. The hotel is located right next to 1933, just a turn out the door and you’re there. There aren’t many other special attractions nearby. As for the executive lounge, it’s completely unsatisfactory. When I went to the executive lounge floor, I was told it’s actually in the café on the first floor (not sure if it’s due to staff shortage). The café has its own customers, so seating options are limited. The food and drink selection is also not like other executive lounges with many options; here it’s just coffee, tea, and a few small cookies.
